888 have announced that their Chief Financial Officer, Yariv Dafna, will stay on until the end of the year – after 888 publishes its full year results.
This decision was taken, despite 888 having last week declared that Dafna would step down from his role at the end of March 2023.
According to 888, the decision was mutually agreed upon.
In a statement following the announcement, former CEO Itai Pazner thanked Dafna for his contribution to 888, which included being part of 888’s merger with William Hill.
Who’s who at 888?
The news of Dafna’s stepping down comes after 888’s announcement that Itai Pazner would no longer serve as its CEO earlier this week.
The CEO role will be temporarily filled by 888’s non-executive Chairman, Lord Jon Mendelsohn, until the operator finds a suitable candidate to replace Pazner.
Meanwhile, non-executive director, Andria Vidler, will be taking over as ESG committee chair, in order to replace Lord Mendelsohn.
888 saw a number of other changes in personnel over the past 2 months.
While Phil Walker was named Managing Director for its UK and Ireland markets last week, in December 2022, Anna Barsby became 888’s new Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO).
Among those who recently left 888 William Hill, was Naama Kushnir who stepped down as 888’s Chief Transformation Officer after only 9 months in the role.
In December 2022, 888’s business development Vice-President, Marcel Elfersy left the company to join Gaming Innovation Group (GiG).
