Gaming provider Hacksaw Gaming and operator William Hill have launched a branded version of the popular Mines pokie, following an exclusive deal made between the two companies.
In this game, players look for diamonds to win cash prizes, by first selecting their stake, then picking cells from the grid that either contain a diamond or a bomb. Choosing more diamonds increases the prize, while clicking on a tile containing a bomb ends the game.
The newly-launched Mines will be available exclusively to play at William Hill, and features the operator’s bold branding. The game also features the same gameplay and graphics found in the original version.
In the new Mines version, players will also find that they have more control over their gameplay as they can adjust the grid size as well as the bet.
According to European Gaming Industry News, the new Mines game seeks to reimagine non-traditional gaming formats, as well as to help extend Hacksaw Gaming’s portfolio of games suitable for players who are looking for a different casino experience.
This game is also an amazing option for casino players who are interested in modernised retro gaming.
In a comment reacting to the launch, Hacksaw Gaming CCO Gabrielle Star expressed her confidence that the deal made between both companies allows Hacksaw Gaming to show what the gaming provider is capable of.
Star also praised the work done by Hacksaw Gaming’s designers when merging William Hill’s branding into the new Mines game version, and described it as brilliant.
Hacksaw Gaming’s CCO added that the new game offers “a more straightforward” vintage gameplay style – an entertaining gaming element for casino fans for decades.
Meanwhile, in his comments, William Hill’s Global Gaming Content Delivery Manager Keiron Downs welcomed the new product, and said that the launch is a fantastic opportunity to offer different gaming experiences to players.
