How Astropay is revolutionising cross-border payments

With the demand for cross-border payment solutions becoming even more pressing than ever before, it’s crucial for gaming providers to revolutionise easier methods of payments across the world.

AstroPay, one of the world’s leading payment providers, is helping the iGaming industry reach more players by facilitating the way they pay, regardless of geographical location.

In comments given to iGaming news website iGB, payment provider Astropay’s Chief Commercial Officer, Sara Rita, said that the company keeps “expanding into new geographies and industries, trying to reach those who need cross-border payment solutions.”

Cross-border transactions have encountered the four challenges over the past 10 years; high costs, unsatisfactory transparency, slow transactions and limited access.

Sara Rita explained further how Astropay has managed to overcome these challenges, by making the cross-border payment process even more simplified.

This was done by allowing users to pay without using a credit or debit card, and by understanding exactly users’ needs.

“We just launched a VISA card that you can generate directly from the AstroPay app and that you can use anywhere in the world where VISA is accepted.”

Astropay’s Chief Commercial Officer added that Astropay has “a lot of other features that we keep adding to the wallet, such as providing users with multiple currency accounts.”

Sara Rita added that AstroPay managed to solve the transparency issue by walking customers through the whole process, and by explaining how the platform handles cross-border transactions.
